Analyst Position at FreeWheel
FreeWheel is seeking an Analyst to join the FreeWheel Strategy & Partnerships Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our next chapter of strategic development & execution. In this role, you will report to a Strategy & Operations Manager and closely partner with key stakeholders across the broader Strategy & Partnerships team. The analyst will create & distribute reports to key stakeholders, assist with the creation of models & dashboards that demonstrate the financial impact of new strategic partnership initiatives, and conduct various market and competitive analyses. This analyst will support the construction of data-driven business cases that help accelerate FreeWheel's growth. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful self-starter with excellent analytical & communication skills with a passion to work in a fast-paced environment within the Media industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect, clean and analyze large-scale data sets to support strategic decision-making across the Strategy & Partnerships team
- Use tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms (e.g. Looker) to generate actionable insights
- Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization (e.g. Finance, Business Intelligence, Commercial, Engineering) to track KPIs and various business metrics and prepare dashboards and reports
- Support market, competitive, and internal analyses rooted in quantitative and qualitative research
- Support strategy development and analysis of growth opportunities
- Research industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications / About You
1-2 years of experience using data and analysis to drive business outcomesExcellent analytical skills : SQL proficiency requiredBachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics)Experience with Visualization BI tools (e.g. - Looker)Knowledge of the media landscape with a passion for TV, digital video, and ad-techExcellent communication skills with the ability to frame and distill complex information and story lines for different audiencesProficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)Experience in advertising technology or the media industry is a plusAbility to collaborate with people outside your immediate teamIntellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly through hypothesis-led problem solvingStrong attention to detail & able to produce deliverables on timeEmployees at all levels are expected to :
