Must-Have :

Prior experience in Cath Lab or Radiologic Technology

Knowledge of sterile technique

Description :

This position is for a Cath Lab Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.

The Technologist will work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with required call duties.

The average number of cases performed per day is approximately 10.

Technologists will scrub and assist the physician during procedures.

There is a need for strong knowledge of sterile technique.

RNs will circulate, sedate patients, and complete the necessary documentation.

Candidates should have experience with EMR systems, specifically Siemens software and equipment.

Call duties require availability 24 / 7.

Shifts and start times may vary based on the scheduling of cases.

On-call requirements include coverage for an entire week every four weeks.

Additional weekend call may be necessary as part of the rotation.

The response time for call duties is 30 minutes.

The dress code includes provided surgical attire.

General hospital orientation and department-specific training will be provided.

Floating to other units may be an option for those seeking extra hours.
