Ball HealthCare Services, Inc . is looking for an experienced Regional Director of Quality Assurance to join our team in the South Alabama area. This Corporate Nurse role provides oversight and guidance to our facilities on clinical and quality assurance matters and is a key nurse leadsership role in helping us fulfill our mission of "serving the underserved" in the rehabilitation and skilled nursing care sector of healthcare. Qualifications :

• Previous experience as Director of Nursing of a long-term care skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of the MDS 3.0 Resident Assessment process is required.
• Familiar with Quality Measures and the ability to assist facilities with improving Quality Measures.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations and survey and certification requirements.
• The ability to train and mentor Directors of Nursing of long-term care facilities.
• Willingness to serve as Director of Nursing if necessary.
• Ability to provide clinical support to multiple facilities.
• Ability to travel to facilities within the state of Alabama, with possible overnight travel required.
