ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 4x12 hour day shifts (48 hours per week)

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 7 with team nursing support from PCC, LPN, and other staff

    • \n

  • On-call responsibilities as needed

    • \n

  • Weekend coverage as needed

    • \n

  • Must have 2+ years recent experience in medical surgical specialty (3+ years preferred)

    • \n

  • Level I Trauma experience required

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • Large hospital experience required

    • \n

  • First-time travelers not accepted

    • \n

  • Must live at least 100 miles from facility (strict local rule)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Skills required : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, IV starts

    • \n

  • Care for adult and geriatric patients with general medical surgical diagnoses

    • \n

  • Work in 48-bed unit with daily census of 46 patients

    • \n

  • Cerner charting system experience preferred

    • \n

  • Active RN license in state or compact license required

    • \n

  • ADN acceptable (BSN not required for this position)

    • \n

  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

    • \n

  • May be floated between like units and campuses within 20 miles

    • \n

  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays if they fall during assignment (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

    • \n

  • All requested time off must be included at time of submission

    • \n\n
