Position Overview : The ideal candidate will have Texas air permitting experience, coordinate complex compliance schedules, perform air compliance tasks, and provide guidance on air permitting and regulations for our clients in the upstream oil and gas industry. This role requires strong technical writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities : Conduct air emissions calculations for permitting, emissions inventories, annual compliance reporting, and greenhouse gas reports.Conduct peer review of teammates calculations and reports, providing constructive feedback. Prepare and submit air permit applications to state and federal agencies, including process flow diagrams, regulatory analyses, and pollutant screenings. Utilize emissions modeling software (such as BRE ProMax). Be a liaison and interpreter between clients and state, federal, tribal, and local air compliance and permitting regulations, assisting clients in implementing operational and reporting requirements.Occasional short-duration travel to client field sites to conduct site inspections and support air monitoring programs may be required.Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience working with TCEQ regulations and the STEERS portal.Experience with upstream and midstream oil and gas air permitting and compliance, including preparation of air permit applications and various compliance reports.Direct experience with state and federal environmental regulations, and the ability to determine applicability with these regulations.Capable of managing projects, meeting budgets, and being a point of communication for client contact.Education and Experience : Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field of study5-10 years of experience in air quality permitting and complianceWhy CDH Consulting : We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
