Heart Center is a hospital-owned practice seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join our established group in our Sheffield, Alabama satellite location. The practice was founded in 1979 and has since grown into a lucrative practice with more than 40 Cardiologists, 6 Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 4 cardiac anesthesiologists.  We are the dominant cardiology group in North Alabama, owning more than 90% of the market with an excellent payor mix.  Physicians are employed by HH Heart Center, LLC which is a wholly-owned entity of Huntsville Hospital, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation, serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.  This provides the group access to a large base of patients supported by a referral base of 170+ primary care physicians.

The position carries excellent compensation and benefits (health / dental / malpractice / disability insurance), 401k and 457(b).

Our Sheffield physicians practice at Hellen Keller Hospital, which is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System.  Founded in 1921, Hellen Keller Hospital is a 185 bed facility with a medical staff of more than 150 physicians and 1000 employees.  The facility offers a wide range of diagnostic testing, including a cardiac catherterization lab.  In addition to the hospital diagnostic imaging services, our clinic provides nuclear, echocardiography and PV testing for our patients.
