Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details :

  • Perform adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology and / or structural heart procedures
  • Execute scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all procedures
  • Ensure accurate medication administration, charge capture, and reporting of daily procedural caseload
  • Respond and provide emergent care when needed
  • Perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and preparedness of procedure rooms
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, local, and federal regulations
  • Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 1+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience required
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
  • Preferred 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures experience
  • Associates Degree required in Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technology, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic program, or Surgical Technology (OR 4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • Required certifications : RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS
  • PALS certification required for Presbyterian Downtown location
