Director of Software Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead and scale its product-delivery engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple engineering teams to deliver new features and enhance customer experience

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate roadmap goals into actionable technical scopes and measurable outcomes

Establish a high-output organization by hiring, mentoring, and fostering a culture of ownership and speed

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in engineering leadership, managing software engineering teams

Proven track record of delivering customer-facing products from concept to launch

8+ years of experience with SaaS, platforms, or developer-facing products

Technical proficiency in system design and coding, with experience in Go, Python, and / or TypeScript preferred

Experience in building culture and accountability in remote-first environments
