Shift : 3×12 Nights

Pay : $2,055.60 / week + $2,400 completion bonus per contract (up to $7,200 after three contracts)

Position Overview

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Knoxville, TN. This position offers competitive weekly pay, completion bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The Step Down RN will provide specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level support between the ICU and medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Step Down Unit.

Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and treatment responses.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and oxygen as prescribed.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.

Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Document care accurately in accordance with hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.

Demonstrated total patient care experience.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
