With offices across North Carolina the Physician Assistant or NP role is trained and licensed to assist the supervising physician by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, collecting and organizing historical and physical data, and exercising a degree of independent judgment in determining appropriate treatments and dispositions. The PA / NP is responsible for written documentation of all clinical interactions in the patient's chart. Candidate will work with our Upper Extremity team in our Asheville office.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Physician Assistant license required
• Medical training from an approved program
• At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant
• Good knowledge of medical office software such as but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, and medical practice software
• Familiarity with EMR programs
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
