Job Description

As an Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production flow. This role involves performing machine start-ups, changeovers, and troubleshooting minor issues to maintain efficiency, product quality, and safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and adherence to protocols are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform Level I preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting
  • Support changeovers, line clearances, and inventory system transactions
  • Pull test samples for quality inspection and handle non-conforming products
  • Maintain 5S standards and update hourly production boards with efficiency metrics

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Basic proficiency in computer systems and mechanical troubleshooting
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. and pushing / pulling up to 80 lbs.
