Requirements Pediatric Hospitalist- will be working inpatient for pediatric inpatients. Rounding on general peds patients, completing admissions process, working with conjunction with subspecialists. Must be proficient and independent with Lumber verage Details : Our greatest need is Christmas week, which we know is tough. We hope for 7 consecutive dates for December. Peds Floor only- day shifts 6a-6pm (12hrs), no nights, no nursery.

• This would primarily be for a 2-4 month contract
• CALL : There is 12 hours of call within the Pediatric Floors. Typically ED admissions and the transfer center.Looking for Coverage for Days / Nights / Weekendslumbar punctures experience is REQUIIRED.
• averaged 26 newborns a day on our service
• Level I Nursery : The newborn service will not be included in Locums rotations, only pediatric floor rotations.
• there are 6 physicians in the current practice, we are hiring for 3, team complete will be 9 total.
• there are 36 med / surg beds within GCHSWF
• 70 NICU beds- the NICU has an excellent group, we do not anticipate this Locum to work within the NICU
• There are 2 NP's one in the nursery exclusively and one who works Monday-Friday within the Pediatric floors and keeps a 12 patient load per day.
