This opportunity begins on Nov 5, 2025, and spans 24 days, providing 24 / 7 call coverage with 7a-7a shifts. The role includes assisting in surgery with vein harvesting, clinic visits, rounding, and supporting the CT surgeon in the CVOR. Job Details Location : Virginia Start Date : Nov 5, 2025 LOA : 24 days Provider Type Needed : Cardiovascular & Thoracic Nurse Practitioner Schedule : 24 / 7 call coverage, 7a-7a shifts Responsibilities and Duties Provide first assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including vein harvesting Cover call duties 24 / 7 as part of a locum tenens team See patients in the clinic and round on inpatients Collaborate with the CT surgeon in the CVOR during procedures Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks Additional Information Active Nurse Practitioner license required in Virginia Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Cardiac Surgery Certification - Adult (CSC) and Cardiology board certifications required Experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, including vein harvesting, strongly preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
