What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills and sound judgment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, including areas that house sensitive technology and media equipment, in accordance with client requirements. Monitor access points and verify credentials for individuals entering secure areas, helping to prevent unauthorized entry. Complete detailed and accurate incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. Assist with crowd control and manage disturbances as necessary to help maintain order on the property. Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific instructions relevant to the technology, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an armed guard card or license. CPR certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
