Job Title- IT Service Desk Agent
Location- South Jordan, UT
Duration- 12 months
Pay- $21 / hr W2
The Service Desk Agent is the first point of contact for users contacting the IT Service Desk. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, technical proficiency, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently using available tools and knowledge. Operating in a 24 / 7 / 365 environment, the agent ensures high-quality end-user support for enterprise hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver exceptional phone, chat, and in-person support to end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware / software issues or escalate as needed
- Document incidents accurately and maintain call tracking records
- Use knowledge base tools to drive high first-call resolution rates
- Install, repair, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Provide user education and guidance
- Maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
Qualifications :
2-5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, technical support environmentStrong communication and customer service skillsHigh school diploma or GED (required)Technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issuesSelf-motivated and able to work independently under pressureWillingness to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
