Description : We are seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for reducing manufacturing defects and improving part yields. This will be accomplished both by up front collaboration with design engineering to ensure products are designed to be successfully produced at production rates and through effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to parts currently being manufactured.

Responsibilities include :

• Analyze product designs and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement design and process changes to improve producibility, reduce costs, increase throughput and enhance product quality
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure that designs are producible and meet manufacturing requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
