Description :
BCK - Contract RN in Med Surg / Tele.
This is a 13-week assignment on the night shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
Telemetry experience is required.
No call is required for this position.
The unit consists of 30 beds and employs 60 staff members.
On day shift, the staffing includes a charge nurse, three RNs, three LVNs, and three patient care technicians.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 5.
Essential equipment used includes Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitters, Telepsych, and Teleneuro.
The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care.
The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and self-motivated.
The dress code requires navy scrubs, and hoop nose piercings are not permitted.
The unit recognizes staff through feedback from patients and has received multiple awards for excellence.
