Job description

A community health center in Providence is adding a Family Medicine physician to our float team.

Practice Details

  • Innovative FQHC with 9 primary care clinics
  • All clinics are Patient-Centered Medical Homes
  • Fully integrated EMR
  • Full or part-time with a regular weekday schedule. No weekends
  • Care for patients of all ages
  • No regular panel management responsibilities
  • Float between clinics to provide coverage for Physicians on leave or vacation
  • Clinics are 5-15 minutes apart
  • Diverse patient population. Spanish or Portuguese fluency is a plus however not required

Compensation / Benefits

  • Base salary plus bonus incentives
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Benefits include employer match retirement, flexible paid time off, CME, State loan repay, malpractice insurance including tail coverage

    • Community / Location

  • City of 180,000 people with vibrant cultural arts, theaters, music, fine dining, and several highly ranked colleges and universities
  • Reasonable cost of living, close proximity to beaches and state parts
  • 1 hour from Boston and 3.5 hours to New York City
