Job Title :   RN Dialysis

Job Requirements :

Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, monitoring vital signs and overall clinical condition.

Initiate, operate, and monitor hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate settings, safety checks, and proper vascular access management.

Administer medications as ordered, including anticoagulants and emergency drugs, and respond promptly to complications such as hypotension or access issues.

Provide patient education on dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, fluid management, and home-care instructions.

Collaborate with nephrologists, technicians, dietitians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Document all assessments, treatments, medication administration, and patient responses accurately in the EMR.

Ensure infection control compliance by maintaining sterile technique, proper equipment handling, and adherence to facility protocols.

Support patients emotionally, helping them adjust to chronic kidney disease and ongoing dialysis treatments.

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dialysis stations, machines, and supplies.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing training to maintain best practices in dialysis care.
