QA Automation Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting critical automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : QA Automation Engineer

Location : Jersey City, NJ - hybrid schedule

Pay Range : $65-67 / hour W2

due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors in any way; all candiates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

What's the Job?

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) and Selenium WebDriver.

Collaborate with QA leads, business analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.

Execute automated regression, functional, and integration tests for banking applications.

Analyze test results, log defects, and work with development teams for resolution.

Contribute to continuous integration and test automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

What's Needed?

7+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in the banking or financial services domain.

Strong expertise in IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) for script development and execution.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java / Python for web-based UI automation.

Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
