Clinical Shift Schedule : Mon Fri (Hours TBD)
On-Call Shift Schedule : Shared Call
Call Type : Rotational
Call Ratio : 1 : 4

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics : Adults (general hematology / oncology)

Patient Volume / Census : TBD

Admissions : Yes

Rounding : Yes (inpatient cancer floor)

Phone Consults : Yes

Case Mix : Hematology and oncology patients across full spectrum

FACILITY INFORMATION

No. of Beds in Department : 420-bed hospital; 21 infusion rooms; dedicated inpatient oncology floors

Trauma Level : Level 2

Office Equipment Available : Radiation therapy and infusion center onsite; certified oncology nurses; onsite fitness facility

Specialty Backup Available : Radiation Oncology, hospitalist support, radiology, pain management, neurosurgery

Support Staff Available : 3 board-certified Hem / Onc physicians, certified oncology nurses, multidisciplinary cancer team

Reason for Coverage : Practice expansion

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate : Highly competitive compensation package with productivity bonus

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama

Certifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology

Experience : Fellowship trained in Hem / Onc

Other Qualifications : Team-oriented, able to work in collaborative environment; PSLF eligible
