Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults across all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds Patient Volume / Census : 910 patients per provider per night Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Unassigned ED patients, transfers, inpatient consults, critical care admissions (co-managed) No. of Beds in Department : 420-bed facility Trauma Level : Level 2 EMR System : EPIC Office Equipment Available : Not specified Specialty Backup Available : 24 / 7 subspecialty support including pulm / critical care and radiology Support Staff Available : Full intensivist support, in-house radiologist, 3 other physicians available Reason for Coverage : Expansion of hospitalist group Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Rate : Competitive salary with nocturnist shift differential and option for quarterly bonuses Paid malpractice with tail; paid interview expenses Additional Additional Adult admissions Critical care co-management Inpatient consults Licenses : Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama Certifications : Board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine Experience : Internal Medicine residency trained Other Qualifications : Experience with diverse patient populations preferred Provide ove
