Job Summary : The Finished Goods Lead is responsible for overseeing the storage, inventory management, and distribution of finished products within the warehouse. This role ensures that all finished goods are properly received, organized, and shipped in strict adherence to company standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrable experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.Key Responsibilities : Finished Goods Management & Inventory Control : Supervise the storage and organization of finished goods to ensure optimal space utilization and accessibility.Monitor stock levels, execute regular cycle counts, and reconcile all discrepancies to maintain precise inventory records.Ensure the proper labeling, tracking, and handling of finished goods to mitigate damage and prevent misplacement.Collaborate closely with the production, quality control, and fulfillment departments to guarantee a seamless workflow and timely order processing.Packing / Finished Room Operations : Ensure all product pouches are properly sealed and accurately dated.Verify the precision of weights for all finished products.Confirm that the packing team is utilizing the correct packaging materials for the scheduled daily production.Return finished pouches to the fulfillment department upon completion of the packing process.Ensure strict compliance by all packing team members with appropriate attire and sanitation guidelines.Accurately record the final packed unit count for the day and formally close out the production build.Verify the satisfactory completion of all evening cleaning protocols.Effectively manage the inventory and creation processes related to tallow.Leadership & Team Supervision : Lead, train, and provide comprehensive support to a team of warehouse associates responsible for handling finished goods.Assign daily tasks, closely monitor team productivity, and provide constructive coaching and feedback as required.Cultivate and maintain a departmental culture focused on safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.Assist in the onboarding and training of new personnel on established best practices and corporate policies.Process Improvement & Compliance : Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency and streamline inventory management procedures.Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and relevant food safety or industry-specific standards.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software to accurately update stock levels and monitor product movement.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to promptly address any issues pertaining to finished goods handling or storage.Qualifications & Skills : Experience : A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics leadership capacity is required.Demonstrated strength in leadership, organizational management, and sophisticated problem-solving skills.Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, JOLT, or comparable inventory tracking software is strongly preferred.The capability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (relevant certification is preferred).The physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and remain standing for extended periods.Flexibility to accommodate various work shifts, including weekends and overtime, as operational needs dictate.
