Psych Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health / Substance Use Disorders

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatric / Mental Health-NP - Regional multi-specialty practice is seeking full-time and part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for inpatient substance use disorder facility. Perform Intake history and psychiatric assessment. Analyze and evaluate patient information to diagnose the nature and extent of mental disorder and|or chemical dependency. Assist in the development of treatment plans

Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, behavioral disorders and|or chemical dependency including inpatient detoxification. Interact with patients, counseling staff, medical director, physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to promote a high standard of care, discuss treatment plans and progress. Revise|update plan of care based on patient progress

Active Commonwealth of Massachusetts license; Current DEA; Strong clinical skills; Interest in working with substance abuse and dual diagnosis population. Ability or willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team
