Radiology Technician Job Details

Position Type : Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm healthcare job opportunity)

Location : On-site in Richmond, VA 23233 (Virginia healthcare jobs)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 30am – 4 : 30pm

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Duration : 8-hour days

Hours per Week : 40

No weekends or on-call required

Permanent salary potential : $100,000 – $104,000 per year (based on 40-hour work week)

Radiology Technician Qualifications

Certificate from an accredited Radiology program

ARRT MRI certification (Required)

ARRT CT certification (Highly Preferred)

Virginia state Radiology Technician License (Highly Preferred; required for patient care in Virginia)

Willingness to obtain Virginia Radiology Technician license prior to employment if not already held

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician (2+ years highly preferred)

Experience with Siemens imaging equipment is a plus

Proven track record of excellent patient care (Required)

Radiology Technician Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and MRI scans

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all radiology procedures

Operate and maintain radiology and imaging equipment according to clinical protocols

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care

Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records

Contribute to a positive, patient-focused healthcare environment
