Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain a clean and safe environment conducive to optimal patient care by employing aseptic surgical techniques.
• Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring everything is ready for the surgical team.
• Set up the operating room for each procedure, including moving and operating necessary equipment.
• Act as a second assistant during surgeries as required.
• Notify staff of any equipment or supply issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Transport patients and manage equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Check the completeness and availability of specialty carts.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport while adhering to safe lifting techniques.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of age-appropriate care principles.
