Podiatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are currently looking for a podiatry / Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our private practice in Farmington, CT!

• Focused Scope of Practice : The patient population is infant to geriatrics. Common pathologies include biopsies for cancer, infections, ingrown toenails, and skin lesions. The practice has an in-office X-ray for foot and ankle trauma.
• Ideal Schedule and Manageable Volume : This is a full-time (3240 hours / week) position with no call required, and the expected patient volume is a manageable 20 PPD once ramped up, with 30 / 15 minute new / established patient appointment slots.
• Procedural Opportunities : Expected to perform basic procedural skills, including basic Incision and Drainage (I&D) and post-operative dressing changes.
• Support Staff : Work with a 1 : 1 Medical Assistant (MA). Support staff includes :

MAs : Room patients, perform medication reconciliation, set up rooms for procedures, conduct X-rays, gate analysis, and shoe fittings.
