Pharmacist Highlights

  • The pay for this position is $64.27 , with shift differentials :
  • Shift 2 Differential : $2.50 / hr
  • Shift 3 Differential : $6.00 / hr
  • Schedule : Evening Shift, 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 30 PM , Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday shifts
  • Onsite position
  • This position is Contract to Hire

Responsibilities

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor medication compliance, over-usage patterns, and patient safety considerations
  • Ensure that prescribed medications are appropriate and safe for patients
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, drug interactions, and general medication questions
  • Provide consultation for both prescription and OTC medications
  • Deliver patient services including smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
  • Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
  • Compound medications (internal and external use) and prepare sterile solutions per established protocols
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
  • Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
  • Identify and address drug-related problems; collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to resolve medication issues
  • Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other healthcare professionals

    • Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active and unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license
  • Strong clinical knowledge, patient communication skills, and experience in pharmacy operations
