A reputable health system in South Carolina is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our neuro clinic team. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic clinic focused on delivering quality neurological care. The CMA will play a key role in patient care, administrative support, and clinical assistance, helping ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care & Support : Greet patients, take vital signs, document health history, and prepare patients for exams. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to ensure questions and needs are addressed.
• Clinical Assistance : Assist physicians during exams and procedures, administer medications as directed, and collect and process lab samples.
• Administrative Duties : Schedule patient appointments, manage electronic health records (EHR), and handle pre-visit preparations. Ensure that all patient information is updated accurately and confidentially.
• Coordination & Communication : Work closely with neuro specialists and other clinic team members to facilitate a collaborative and efficient environment, maintaining quality patient-centered care.
• Equipment & Supply Management : Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area and ensure medical equipment is regularly cleaned and prepared for use.
