Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift assignment requiring a GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of CVICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in a hospital setting
  • Night shift (12-hour shifts)
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No local candidates allowed; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning travelers are eligible if separated from Emory or Houston health system for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • Maximum of 5 days requested time off (RTO) unless near a holiday, in which case only 3 days are allowed
  • Only one holiday RTO request is permitted
  • RTO during holidays must be spread out
  • Former Emory or Houston perm staff must adhere to specific rehire waiting periods

    • Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
  • Minimum 18 months of recent full-time CVICU experience within the last 3 years
  • Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases
