Gastroenterology Hospitalist

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Perform advanced GI procedures, including ERCP and EUS (required)
• Manage approximately 5-8 new consults daily, with a total of 23 patients per day
• Collaborate with APPs for efficient patient care delivery
• Provide inpatient gastroenterology services from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during your scheduled week
• Maintain strong communication with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the GI service line

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Advanced GI fellowship training preferred (ERCP and EUS required)
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligibility)
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and team collaboration
