Prep Cook - Part-time - No Sundays

Position Summary

The Prep Cook supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that food is prepared according to company standards. This role plays a key part in setting up the kitchen for successful service, ensuring consistency and quality in all menu items.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and recipes as directed, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Wash, chop, portion, and store food items in accordance with food safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organized prep area, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.

Properly label, date, and store all ingredients and prepared items.

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, verifying product quality and accuracy.

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the kitchen leadership.

Support cooks and kitchen staff during service as needed.

Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.

Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required; training provided.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a team.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule including daytime, weekend, and some holiday shifts depending on operational needs.
