WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Psychiatric unit at a recovery center located in Westfield, PA.

Job Function :

Prepare and administer prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV, and document accordingly.

Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments, following policies and procedures for medication administration.

Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.

Monitor and adjust specialized medical equipment and interpret and document electronic displays.

Initiate corrective action as needed to ensure patient safety and care.

Job Requirements :

1 year of current Psychiatric or Behavioral Health RN experience is required.

Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

BLS certification required.

CPI certification preferred.

Familiarity with HCS charting system is a plus.
