Job descriptionTransportation : Safely transport passengers goods or equipment to various locations in a timely manner. Route planning : Plan and follow the most efficient routes using navigation systems and knowledge of the area while accounting for traffic and road conditions. Vehicle maintenance : Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections perform basic maintenance like checking fluid levels and tire pressure and arrange for repairs when necessary. Safety and compliance : Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations operate the vehicle defensively and ensure the safety of passengers and cargo. Record keeping : Maintain accurate logs of mileage deliveries fuel consumption and any vehicle issues or incidents. Loading and unloading : Safely load and unload cargo or assist passengers when required. Communication : Communicate effectively with passengers dispatchers and management regarding route updates delays or issues. Vehicle upkeep : Keep the vehicle clean and presentable both inside and out. A valid drivers license and a clean driving record are essential. Strong navigational skills and the ability to use GPS technology. Excellent time management and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules. Good communication skills and a professional and friendly demeanor.
