About The Position

Job Title : X Ray / CT Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mix of 12 & 8 hour shifts

Hours per Shift : 3x12-Hour (15 : 00 - 23 : 30); 5x8-Hour (11 : 00 - 23 : 30)

Experience : 1.5 to 2 years preferred

License : Required

Certifications : ARRT, BLS

Must-Have :

• CT and X-ray experience
• Traveler must live 25+ miles away from the facility

Description :

Looking for an X Ray / CT Tech to work a mix of 12 and 8 hour shifts.

The position will require working 3 to 4 times per week.

The schedule includes evening and day shifts.

Weekends may be required approximately every 6th week.

On-call may occur during paid time off rotation with 6 staff members.

Candidate must be proficient in X-ray and CT.

The role primarily involves working independently.

Familiarity with Epic EMR is necessary.

Experience with GE CT and PACS is preferable.

The department has been newly remodeled.

Radiologists are onsite during the day while nocturnists handle after-hours readings.

Voice recognition software is utilized for dictation.

The environment is a busy emergency room with minimal inpatient work.

Applicants with strong skills in both X-ray and CT will be given preference.

The focus will be on providing high-quality imaging services.

Holiday work may be required as needed.
