Telephone call : very limited

Call ratio : 1 : 3

30-minute call response time required

Position Overview : This locum-to-perm Hematology / Oncology role consists primarily of outpatient clinic responsibilities with consult support for hospitalized patients. Hospitalists admit patients when needed, and Hem / Onc provides consultations only. The practice offers full multidisciplinary support, including onsite infusion, radiation oncology, surgery, IR, and laboratory services.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities :

Clinic patients per day : 1520

Infusion center volume : 45 patients seen through infusion center daily

NP sees patients every other visit and manages established treatment; MD handles new patients

Phone consults : 1

Unassigned patient management as required

Facility Details : 20-bed facility

Clinic staffed with OCN nurses

Onsite radiation oncology, surgery, IR, and lab

Trauma Level III

Hospital Stroke Certified

EMR : Mosaiq

Multiple providers accepted

Requirements :

Board Certified in Internal Medicine Hematology and Oncology

Active Idaho license or IMLC accepted

Fellowship required

BLS required
