Job Title : IR / DX RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Friday - Sunday Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 p.m. - 7 : 30 a.m.) Experience : Two years of Registered IR Nursing experience required License : New York RN license required Certifications : BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have : Telemetry experience required Description : This is a fast-paced pre / post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This role offers an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.
