American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Siemens equipment experience and required licensure to work flexible day shifts in a PET / CT setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designationWork within the Nuclear Medicine department, primarily performing PET / CT scansSiemens scanners are used in the departmentEPIC is the electronic medical record system utilizedScheduled for five 8-hour day shifts per week, with start times between 6 : 30am and 10 : 00am, and end times between 3 : 00pm and 7 : 00pmNo holiday shifts requiredShift does not require callMay be required to work one Saturday every four weeks based on department needsNo floating to other units or facilitiesBlock scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteedMain responsibilities include independently performing PET / CT scans and handling radioactive pharmaceuticalsNo floating to other units or sister facilities is requiredAll staff may be assigned emergency response duties during hurricane season (June-November)Scrub attire is teal top and black pantsParking is available on nights and weekends with a one-time feeAll required onboarding modules must be completed pre-start and are not paid separatelyCandidates who were previously employed as perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year break before returning as a travelerLocal candidates within 60 miles will be considered at a lower rateAll requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application and is subject to approval\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine TechnologistExperience with Siemens PET / CT equipment requiredCurrent BLS certification required (AHA only)NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification requiredNMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification also requiredSCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography is required (license required if applicable)Radiation badge must be provided by travelerFirst-time travelers are acceptedExperience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers is preferredMust provide SSN and driver’s license for consideration\n Benefits\n
