SENIOR ORACLE BACKEND DEVELOPER

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Oracle Backend Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Database, backend development, and strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires a Secret Security Clearance , as you will be working on sensitive and classified government projects. As a Senior Oracle Backend Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power critical systems and services. You will be responsible for writing efficient and optimized SQL queries, designing database schemas, and ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Oracle Database technologies
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate Oracle databases with various front-end technologies
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers to support backend applications
• Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high performance and availability
• Ensure database security, backups, and data integrity in compliance with best practices and security protocols
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Work closely with system architects to design and implement scalable database solutions
• Provide technical support for database-related issues and system upgrades
• Document database designs, processes, and configurations
• Adhere to government and organizational security standards, ensuring compliance with Secret Security Clearance requirements
