The Opportunity

The Mozilla Foundation seeks an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial Senior Director of Finance and Administration (Senior Director). The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic, systems-oriented professional with significant experience managing and building nonprofit finance and administrative functions. The Senior Director will report directly to and serve as a thought partner to the Chief Operating Officer, leading the development and optimization of the Foundation’s financial support structures and team.

The Senior Director will also work closely with the President of the Foundation on matters related to the oversight and support of Mozilla subsidiaries.

The Senior Director will oversee all financial activities of the Foundation, serving as a thought leader within the senior leadership team and establishing finance policies organization-wide. Focused on enhancing efficiency, they will implement streamlined systems and drive process improvements.

Compensation & Benefits

The location for this role is flexible in the US but the ET timezone will be heavily preferred. The Senior Director will manage a dispersed team with the median time zone being the Eastern Time Zone.
