Job Title : CT Technologist Profession : Allied Specialty : Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift : 36 Experience : A minimum of 3 years of experience required License : ARRT-CT Certifications : BLS Must-Have : A minimum of 3 years of experience; ARRT-CT Description : The facility has 457 licensed beds and is a Trauma Level III center. It serves as a teaching hospital, a Chest Pain Center, and a Stroke Center of Excellence. It also operates as a Bariatric Center of Excellence. The average number of patients per day will be discussed during the interview. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient types and common diagnoses will be discussed during the interview. Areas served include the emergency department, inpatient units, and outpatient services. NC State Licensure is not required. Skills required will be discussed during the interview. Support within the department includes radiology nursing and transport services. Technology and equipment used includes EMR : EPIC, and department-specific equipment from Siemens and GE. There is no floating between departments. Scheduling information will be discussed during the interview, including weekend rotations and on-call expectations. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Requests for time off require manager approval. Shift times may vary based on requisitions. The schedule cycle is every four weeks.
