Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks associated with setting up active construction projects after the transition from Estimating to Construction and through project completion. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Estimators to ensure accurate project setup and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Setup & Administration
- Issue project numbers upon transition from Estimating to Construction.
- Conduct project buyouts, including drafting and managing Subcontracts, Service Agreements, Work Orders, and Purchase Orders.
- Maintain accurate subcontractor, vendor, PO, and Change Order lists.
- Track and archive subcontractor / vendor correspondence; escalate issues to the project team.
- Work with the Safety Department to prepare project-specific Emergency Action Plans.
- Schedule and participate in pre-construction and hand-off meetings as applicable.
- Coordinate with Finance / Accounting to meet compliance requirements (e.g., Bonds, COIs).
Documentation & Reporting
Organize and maintain detailed project records accessible to the team.Create accurate Job Books.Monitor and distribute status reports to Project Managers, team members, and senior management.Support project closeout by archiving and transitioning files to the Completed Projects archive.General Support & Coordination
Identify and report potential risks or issues during project execution.Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.Perform other duties as assigned to support company goals.Qualifications

Entry-Level (0–2 years) : $50,000 – $60,000
Mid-Level (2–5 years) : $60,000 – $70,000
