Shift Descriptions :

24-hour call, 7am-7am

Requirements : Board certified

Fellowship

Must be licensed in South Carolina

ACLS certification

Procedures : Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Heart Valve Replacement, TAVRS

Assignment Details :

Hospital rounding and Cardiovascular surgery (no thoracic)

Provider participates as backup

Facility does not have trauma designation but is seeking Level III

CV-related trauma surgery would be very unlikely

24 / 7 cardiovascular-trained Anesthesia team and critical care physician coverage, as well as full ICU staff

Volume is less than 10

Surgeries per week : 7
