Immediate Impact : Address a critical need by providing essential Neuroendovascular care on a temporary basis. This locum tenens role allows you to leverage your expertise while maintaining schedule flexibility.

Diverse Patient Care : Experience a dynamic blend of call coverage and potential weekend shifts, ensuring timely intervention for stroke patients and other complex neurological conditions.

Focus on Surgical Expertise :

This role is ideal for a highly skilled neuroendovascular surgeon with the ability to perform both thrombectomies and clippings at the bedside, minimizing the need for patient transfers.

Supportive Team Environment : Collaborate with a dedicated CNS during weekday business hours and access general Neurosurgery APPs for nighttime support. New consultations will be managed by the on-call Neuroendovascular Surgeon.

Seamless Technology : Leverage your familiarity with EPIC, the EMR system used at the facility.

Key Responsibilities :

Be available 24 / 7 to provide phone consultations, triage stroke patients, and make timely decisions regarding intervention for patients requiring thrombectomies or other neuroendovascular procedures.

• Participate in weekend call shifts as needed.
• Manage a variable patient load during call shifts, performing both open and endovascular procedures in the interventional / cath lab.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with the on-site healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications for Success :

Current board certification in Neurological Surgery is mandatory.
