About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a highly respected Omaha-based general contractor with a long-standing presence in the region. With decades of experience delivering K-12, higher education, municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects, they’re looking to bring on an experienced Construction Estimator to join their preconstruction team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to take ownership of bids on meaningful, community-focused projects across the Omaha area.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare detailed estimates for public and private sector projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and subcontractor pricing evaluations
- Develop bid proposals, budgets, and value engineering strategies
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design teams during preconstruction
- Maintain and update cost databases, vendor relationships, and market pricing insight
