Service Intern- College

Job Summary : HOLT CAT is looking for a College Intern to work with our CAT Support team and will be under the direct guidance of an experienced Shop Service Supervisor to receive on-the-job training. The interns primary purpose is to learn and develop an understanding of the overall CAT Support Service Department operation.

Essential Functions :

• Receive coaching mentoring and feedback from leadership
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies procedures and standards
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Perform maintenance
• Help install repair and replace mechanical and electronic components
• Clean and / or lubricate machines
• Examine and test equipment components and parts to ensure the proper functioning
• Adjust connect or disconnect wiring piping tubing and other parts using hand or power tools
• Adjust maintain and repair equipment and machine components
• Perform welding and other NDT tasks to ensure standards are met
• Performs other duties as assigned
