Position : Full-Time LPN in our Endocrinology Office
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday
Join our energetic and fast-paced Endocrinology Division, where teamwork is at the heart of delivering exceptional patient care! We are looking for a skilled LPN to be a vital part of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately obtain and record patient vital signs.
- Document important components of patient history.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist in in-office procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
- Perform EKGs and diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
- Conduct prescription call-backs as per scope of practice.
- Prepare patient charts with essential clinical information.
- Maintain supply inventory and ensure patient examination rooms are well-stocked.
- Provide sample medications to patients under the guidance of licensed healthcare providers.
- Adhere to regulatory compliance and organizational policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent.Current NYS license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.Preferred experience in a patient care setting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to present information and respond to inquiries from physicians, patients, and their families effectively.Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!
