UTS Data Analyst

Data Analyst - Hybrid / Onsite | $68 / hr | M-F 8AM-5PM

Location : Hybrid / Onsite | Data Services Team | IT & Business Intelligence Division

Are you a data-driven problem solver ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a highly experienced Data Analyst to join our Data Services team within the IT & Business Intelligence Division , supporting small to medium-sized IT projects that directly influence business outcomes.

This is a hybrid / onsite position working Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM , with a competitive pay rate of $68 / hour .

What You'll Do :

Extract and audit data from multiple sources using automated tools.

Clean and restructure data to ensure accuracy and usability.

Develop and maintain databases and data systems for optimized performance.

Analyze data to uncover trends, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and support decision-making.

Enhance reporting systems to deliver meaningful business value.

Support data governance initiatives, including master data management and data lineage.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams-programmers, engineers, and business leads-to identify and implement process improvements.

Design and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators and data quality metrics.

What You Bring :

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role.

Strong command of SQL, MySQL, SSIS, SSRS, and other database management tools.

Proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and research methods.

Deep understanding of data architecture, quality audits, and reporting systems.

Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Strong business acumen with the ability to turn data into strategy.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Familiarity with transactional databases and accounting data.

Bonus Points For :

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Exposure to data governance best practices.

Hands-on use of modern analytics tools beyond Excel and SQL.
