The Coffee Oasis is a Christian non-profit organization that exists to create pathways of opportunity for youth to be restored in heart, soul, mind, and body. We believe youth are the future of our community, but many are hurting, homeless, and hindered from living their full potential. The Coffee Oasis youth programs offer a place for the community to invest in their future-the youth. We do this through creating safe shared spaces, mentorship, street and school outreach, goal setting, job training, shelter, and crisis services. The only way for our mission to succeed is through the support of the entire community-intentional inter-generational and cross-cultural investment. We accomplish this mission through a sustainable and successful coffee business. The cafés offer a "third place" for the community to gather and buy products with the added value of all profits returning to create opportunities for youth.

A day in the life as a youth Development case maanger

As a Full Time (M-F, 9-5) Youth Development Case Manager at The Coffee Oasis, your primary focus will be on engaging in effective case management strategies designed to transition at-risk youth out of homelessness and prevent others from facing similar circumstances. You will work directly with young individuals who require guidance and support in navigating crises, ensuring they have access to essential resources and services. Through compassionate outreach and personalized care plans, you will empower these youth to build healthier futures and establish a supportive community. By addressing their unique challenges, you will help pave the way for lasting change and stability in their lives, making a profound difference in their journey towards self-sufficiency.

Requirements

To thrive as a Full Time Youth Development Case Manager at The Coffee Oasis, candidates must exhibit strong alignment with our core values, mission, and Jesus Statement.

• In full agreement with The Coffee Oasis Core values mission and Jesus Statement.
• Have a Bachelor or Associate Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Have experience in Trauma informed care or restorative care is a plus.
• Have at least one year of experience working with adolescents.
• Have possession of current driver's license, is comfortable behind the wheel with passengers, and access to a vehicle with personal automobile insurance.
• To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Possess internet research skills.
