Qualifications / Experience :
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial or healthcare construction (most of the time being in the field).
- Adapts well to changes in the work environment
- Strong focus on conflict resolution
- Proficient in document change and RFI management
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong Leadership Skills
Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
Ensure that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standardsMaintain a safe, secure, clean and organized jobsiteLead, direct, and coordinate the work of subcontractorsMaintain daily paperwork : timecards, field reports, RFIs and E-mail coordinatorsCoordinate with subcontractors for proper sequence of work and deliveriesHelp train, mentor, and develop the skills of lower-level project teammatesFluent in operations of current project scheduling softwareEnforce strict safety practices which also includes completing accident and incident forms as necessaryConduct Safety orientations and weekly safety meetingsUnderstand and be able to implement building code requirementsMaintain or assist in maintaining material usage logsCapable of collaboration with design team pertaining to construction documentsParticipate in Job Progress meetingsParticipate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiativesProficiency using various IT devices and programs, Laptop PCs, tablets, MS OfficeOSHA 10-hour courseParticipate in field quality controlComplete Standards of Excellence quality checklists at appropriate timesThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
